Testing in the sandbox mode is quintessential for your business as you get to quickly develop and test your application in the shortest possible time. With test credentials provided, you will be able to access the data structure that we return Live in a sample format.
While testing in a sandbox environment for Mono Connect, you will need account credentials to authenticate on the widget before being able to call our Connect APIs for sample data.
N.B Please note the sandbox credentials provided can be used across all countries.

Mono Connect API Credential
For testing Mono Connect APIs in the sandbox, all that will be required is your dashboard application test secret key (e.g test_sk_random_secret_key) in your API headers as mono-sec-key.
For the Mono Connect widget, you can open the widget and choose your desired bank and click on the "Fill in sandbox credentials" ribbon to automatically fill the input boxes. This applies to all banks.

For Mono Directpay testing in a sandbox environment, test credentials will be required when trying to authorise payment on the confirmation screen of your widget

For testing Mono DirectPay APIs in the sandbox, all that will be required is your dashboard application test secret key (e.g test_sk_random_secret_key) in your API headers as mono-sec-key.
For testing Mono Issuing APIs in the sandbox you practically need your dashboard application test secret key (e.g test_sk_random_secret_key) in your API headers as mono-sec-key.
API calls made in sandbox mode are free
- You will not be charged for any API requests while your app is in sandbox mode.
- Sandbox data can be gotten via our sandbox credentials.
